I had a '71 with the 232 inline 6 White black int, 313 gears in the rear, free flow exhaust, Timed to 8 degrees B T Dc getting to 70 mph was a kick in the pants!! A lot of guys in the Mesa area GAVE respect when they saw it. Sold the car with 370,000 miles on the clock. Cylinder head was never removed for maintenance. Changed oil every time I changed my mind. 3 on the tree. the oil filter cost more than some people pay for a oil change. It was a racing filter, because I got respect on the street.
