i really love this!! I love the color, concept, imagery, the way you made sky and ocean waves merge... I think it's absolutely beautiful. I just can't get over how much i like it. Really really great work!!!

I must say I love the concept.
The sea reminds me much of the one in the imagined pirate scenes in "Finding Neverland" (with Johnny Depp), whilst the hanging stars remind me a lot of one or two old, Disney short films featuring babies that went on a sail accross the sky. They would sail the clouds and up above into the cosmos, and then they would take out some sticks to act as fishing rods, and (if I recall correctly) they'd tempt "moonfish" (a play on the word itself, as moonfish is a real species) with small stars on a string at the end of their fishing rods. It was very cute, and as was expected from Disney at the time, the animation was perfect. hehe

this is really nice work. It's first of all a really great idea... although I never heard of star-fishing it sounds like something I should have heard or something you hear as a kid from your parents. The colours are really simple but you have mixed them and contrasted everything really well. I especially like how you did the sky in the background.. quite difficult with acrylics I think. Really nice job! This one gets a fav

Most impressive! The imagery (sp?) really reminds me of all the old story books with such lavish and colorful pictures I loved so much as a child (and still do). Simply wonderful!

I honestly love all the simplicity you've shown with this.
And the perspective on the stars is a nice subtle detail that makes the picture look more alive.

This reminds me alot of Winken Blinken and Nod, if any of you ever read that story as a kid. I really love the coloring on the ocean here. This is simply gorgeous.

Beautiful colors, nice color choices. The fish is a nice touch, it grounds the surreal subject in reality. We can fish for stars, but we can also just fish for fish.
