Okay, Who’z Next is one of my proto type pictures (for trying to create another art style). Here’s some things that’s either been added or included from other successful pictures I’ve done in the past (I don’t even know where to begin).

1) One of the biggest additions is the still motion effect (which tries to show animation in a still image).

2) Also my graffiti is slightly more wilder than before & pieces of my picture serves as part of the graffiti (kind of hard to explain that part, you’d just have to view it and see for yourself to better understand).

3) I put more attention in designing my background (I kind of was slacking in that department last year).

4) And for those of you who like work that’s mixed with photography, yes I have been learning how to use more tools in Photoshop CS4 so I’m now trying to edit & mix photographs in my work as well.

5) I’ve been doing some experimenting with my lighting & shading, but still haven’t figured a style I want to settle with yet. None-the-less, it’s gotten slightly better.

6) I decided to bring back a different type of motion effect I used back in 2005 and early 2006 hoping it may profit to my style.

7) And the last thing I can remember off hand is better texture to certain areas of the picture (to help it stand out better to the viewer). Manga Mesh and Tokyo Cop are two good pictures to view to see what I’m talking about.

About Who’z Next: Who’z Next is a picture of a street B-ball chick in an indoor gymnasium. On the jersey’s hanging from the balcony contains three numbers. I did the left jersey as number 10, because that was my number when I played basketball in the 6th grade for the Junior Varsity team. The middle jersey as number 22, because that was my number when I played for the Varsity team in the 7th grade. And the last was just some random number. This girl is supposed to be a tomboy who rules the court. The water bottle wobbling is one of two ways I tried to express her speed & agility and the flaming basketballs as a sign of good shooting accuracy. The flaming basketball is also part of the punctuation for the graffiti. Well this is about all I can think of to put here explaining this picture. Enjoy.

Time Spent: 300+ HRS (when it takes this many hours it’s easy to lose track of the exact amount).
