Well this is a shot that I took back in June during a photoshoot with the stallions at this Arabian farm nearby. I absolutely lovedddd (love) this stallion. He is called Joey, but my friend and I dubbed him Fabio for his beautiful hair and sweet-you-off-your-feet personality. This picture is stunning in color, but upon fiddling with it, I have come to really like this over-exposed, kinda sepia type look it has now!Enjoy and no stealing!

I actually named it after a song that was wrote by Lisa during this season's America's Next Top All Star competition. Her "song" was called "I feel like whoah!" and I really thought it went along with this shot!

mhmm! sadly, my good shots will be of short comings until I get a new lens. Mom broke my big one, so I just have my poopy small one for the stallion testing tomorrow, urrgg!

ahhh that totally sucks! i know exactly how that feels, my awesome and only zoom lens is also broken, still :[ i had to rent a lens for my last shoot haha. it was cheap though cant complain. well good luck working with what you have, hope you get some nice ones. yay stallies ^^

yeah I got to the testing and I took one shot using the small lens and promptly put that camera back in the car and just used my Mom's cybershot for video mainly. Sucks! But I got invited to Avalon Equine (once I get a new lens lol) to visit more with the owners and the amazing Goldmaker, as well as, shoot their horses for the heck it it hehee. I'm pumped and hopefully I'll get to breed my mare to Goldmaker too, so that makes it all the better!

hehee late notice, but I will not be breeding my mare to GM, sadly. Found out that because he is not truly registered with the JC, that he cannot sire half Arabian foals that are able to be registered as Anglo-Arabian. Bummerrr!!! So probably going to breed to Noble Houston, he was tied for first anyways

oooh i see. makes sense. i heard people ride pregnant horses with no probs though, i didnt realize mares were so tough. oohh she's a pretty girl, love the pics of her too :]

yeah, generally you can keep riding them as long as they are comfortable but you usually shouldn't ride them past 6 months, and thanks!
