Very interesting flip for both characters. Jan now advocating for The Mask and Evelyn trying to get rid of it. I guess Jan just thinks Evelyn is simply the wrong hands to put this power into. Or maybe Jan just can't handle Eve. I wonder how Evelyn will come to terms with Jan being two faced in regards to The Mask.
I'm also curious how Evelyn feels about Stanley and his own relationship with The Mask. If it's such a menace to her that she'd get rid of it but at the same time it's a savior for Stanley, maybe that'll throw the proverbial wrench into theirΒ relationship. Maybe they'll bond over their shared expiriences inside The Mask. Maybe Evelyn even thinks she's doing him a favor.
I dont know. You certainly have me guessing as your story seems to be entering into a new arch. I can say we're trying our best to be
anxiously patient but it seems like something big is going to happen to the characters and possibly the city at the coco-bongo. Can't wait for my next weekly dose. The story is slowly building excellently.Β

It will be interesting to see Eve's friend square away the contradiction between her hating it when her friend wears the Mask and also not simply wanting the Mask to disappear. Good artwork. I'm curious if this driver is going to be a recurring character.

I'm glad you pointed this out! Yes. Jan has grown quite aware of the role the Mask used to play in the city. So much so that she knows that locking the artifact away would be quite premature. So she's setting things up too.
Plans on top of plans.
