Inspired by various examples of roundshield-shaped pendants from the early medieval period, this pendant is made of an approximately 1" sterling silver disk encircled by a twisted wire "rope" border and features a solar design consisting of an embossed center with 9 rays emanating from it.The pendant is suspended from a handmade 22" double knit loop in loop chain made of individually fused argentium silver links.
