Started yesterday, finished today. Designed, modeled, hand painted texture (zero real world references or images used. Just photoshop brush tools) in ~4 hours. Modeled/Rendered in Max (Realtime render), Photoshop for textures.

Inspired by 3D Motives Hand Painting Weapon Textures Tutorial.

Really enjoyed this method. I believe I'll do many more models like this.

Edit: I should mention I have NEVER hand painted a texture like this, and do not have a background in Photoshop painting either. So it could be much better with practice!
