Brittney was amped to be a celebrity influencer for the new Barbie movie. She put on her newly donated Barbie apparel and had even bought a pink truck for the occasion, in fact it was to be delivered to her house today. Brittney's fitness career was at a steady pace and money was flowing. The sponsorships were getting to the point that she was getting paid rather handsomely and people were recognizing her in the street, she even had reached her millionth follower on Instagram just recently, things were going great.

Being a fitness model was all about staying fit, obviously, so Brittney did what she did every day, started off by jogging around her neighborhood. As she made her first lap around the sprawling cluster of houses she turned the corner, and she saw an old friend from high school also out for a jog. It was her frienemy, a girl named Maya. Maya had always tried to compete with Brittney, despite Brittney's best efforts to befriend her. If Brittney won first place in a track event, Maya was there in third place, jealous and trying to bring Brittney down a peg for feeling good.

Maya always went for the guys that Brittney liked as well, unfortunately it never panned out well for her as Brittney always seemed to get the guy, despite not even really trying. She effortlessly made a fool of Maya on almost a daily basis. She didn't mean to, just Brittney was the "it girl" the prom queen, the popular chick, things just always worked for her.

With all of that in her mind she decided that maybe it wouldn't be the best idea speak to Maya, Brittney never had a problem with her but Maya always treated the two as rivals, Brittney was in a good mood and didn't want to change that. As she sped her pace up Maya made eye contact with her and flagged her down, "Brittney!! Brittney!!" She called out, loud enough for half the neighborhood to hear. Brittney couldn't ignore her now, "Oh great, please don't put me into any drama" she muttered to herself.

Brittney was going to try her best to be cordial with Maya and greeted her with a smile, "Hey Maya!! Funny running into you here! How's things?"

Maya smirked as she slinked up to her, "I'm great Brittney, things are going really good for me, in fact I just signed a fitness contract, just like yours" Maya smiled coyly as she looked at Brittney to see her reaction. Brittney was genuinely happy for Maya, she was excited to know someone in the industry and wanted to help her out, "That's amazing! Congratulations! I always knew you had in you." Brittney's smile lit up as she congratulated Maya, but Maya just rolled her eyes.
Maya began, "So did I. And just so you know, I plan on being the BEST fitness model in the area, so watch your back Britt."

Brittney, still taking the high road just chuckled, "I believe in you Maya, I look forward to the friendly competition."

Brittney knew that she had a better body than Maya and was prettier than Maya by a long shot. Maya was decent at modelling but nowhere near Brittney's level, Brittney knew this and wasn't threatened by Maya at all, but she was starting to get annoyed at Maya's constant attempts to compete with her.

Right on cue Maya continued trying to get under Brittney's skin, "Oh there's nothing friendly about this competition, love. I'm here to finally put you in your place, you've always been overrated, everyone says so!"

By now a small crowd of about 20 people had gathered to see Brittney and were marveling that they actually saw a local celebrity out in public. The crowd immediately negated Maya's sentiment by clamoring and calling for Brittney. This infuriated Maya.

"It's me you all should be calling out for, not this overrated nothing." Jealousy was now oozing out of Maya at this point. The crowd immediately disagreed, "We don't even know who you are" one shouted.
"Yea move so we can meet Brittney" another chimed in.

Maya blocked out the crowd and continued talking to Brittney, "You think you're hot shit but I know all about you Britt. You're a stuck up, conceited, brat. I know the real you..."

"Maya where is this coming from? I've never shown you anything but love." Her soft, lacy voice was the polar opposite of Maya's angry tone, she continued, "How about we talk about it, one on one, without all of these people around? Maybe we can come to an agreement, ya know?"

Maya wasn't having any of that, "Nah, no agreements on this side. I know everything I need to know about chicks like you, trust me, in fact....

Brittney's eyes widened as she peaked behind Maya, "Hey..umm Maya you might wannna-"

Maya was beside herself, "Don't you cut me off when I'm talking to you! Do you not understand how rude that is? This is what I mean, I know the REAL you and the real you is a BITCH!"

Brittney had had enough by this point, she just chuckled and shook her head, "Don't say I didn't warn ya..."

Maya, who was enraged by this point, "warn me about what!? Someone should've WARNED you about a grown woman wearing a Barbie outfit....what are we 12? What a loser! You really should-"

Just then, like a hot pink lightning bolt, the Jeep that Brittney ordered came screeching around the corner, the delivery driver wasn't that great a driver ironically and had mistakenly hit the accelerator instead of the brake!!

Brittney had seen it coming, as did the crowd but poor Maya was too busy trying to insult and embarrass Brittney that she never saw it coming.

There was a loud thump followed by a crunign sound as Maya disappeared under the Jeep. When the driver backed up Maya went as flat as a pancake right under the wheels! The crowd gasped and Brittney looked concerned that is until they all saw that Maya was STILL talking, or attempting to at least.

Her words muffled from being reduced to the size of a piece of notebook paper she continued, "What...what happened!? Brittney! You sat this up! I told you all she was evil! You duplicitous bitch!"

The crowd laughed and ignored Maya's helpless predicament as they finally got to meet who they came to see, asking Brittney to pose for pictures in front of her new jeep for her million followers on social media!

The crowd even got so tired of Maya's constant babbling that they eventually put a blanket over her so they couldn't hear her complaining anymore! Maya was bested by Brittney once again.

After the impromptu photoshoot, which lasted about an hour, Brittney turned to the crowd, "guys I feel kinda bad about Maya" she uncovered the flattened heap of a girl and asked the laughing and jeering crowd, "I should peel her up right?"

A majority of the crowd said a resounding "NO" and a few guys in the back started a "leave her there" chant which got a small laugh out of Brittney.

One voice from the back said, "take her home and use her as a poster to hang on the wall!" Which garnered a pretty big cheer from the crowd

A woman from the rear chimed in, "nah who'd want..THAT..on their wall? How about a doormat, that should teach her some humility."

Maya began to see that this wasnt going to end well for her, defeated, she did what she could in that situation, began to beg, "Brittney...girl you know we've been friends forever! It was just friendly jokes! Don't....don't do this!!"

The crowd drowned out Maya's groveling, "doormat! Doormat!" They chanted, to which Brittney obliged. Her bright smile filled her face as she carefully scraped Maya up and folded her into a neat square.

"Party at my house" she yelled to the ever growing crowd, "just be sure to wipe your feet first!!"
