Mamiya RB67 rocks!
So if I understood well your comments, the 50mm obj is used here?

yes this is the lens! sure it rocks but it's so difficult to use in this kind of situation, and with this lens, because of the floating system ring... much better a mamiya 7!

I have the same RB67, the first model.
Yes it's quite chalenging for those pictures.

What kind of floating ssytem ring there is on the 50mm? Do you need to focus on the box first and then on the objectif too?
I just have 90 and 127mm.

you need to focus on the box and set this ring on the focusing distance, you can barely notice any improvement of the quality on the viewfinder but it should improve the quality of the photo mostly in the extreme border. anyway from the quality point of view i prefer by far the 90mm

Oh I see.
On the 90mm, I have a ring too, but I thought it was just for judging the deepth of field, do you think it the same ring than on your 50mm? I don't have equivalent on my 127mm.

on my 90mm i don't have any ring other than the 2 for aperture and time... for previewing d.o.f. there is a little metallic lever, maybe you mean the "ring" for moving the distance scale, but it doesn't move the lenses, is just a scale. only the 50mm and 65mm have the floating system.

OK, I started to have a doubt. I suppose the 50mm and 65mm are so wid, they need such adjustments.
Thanks.

I think you're right, it fixes the resolution falloff on the borders, typical of wideangle.
