I really love this piece The way that you set up the landscape so that the viewer is looking out over it all is very beautiful. The colors are perfectly chosen for winter and the way the mountains and trees are drawn is very realistic and beautiful. You are very good at putting just enough detail, but not too much, in order to let the eye do the rest. The way that you have drawn the character is excellent as well; the anatomy makes them look like a very real creature, and there is so much realistic movement in the way they are posed that I can easily imagine them taking another step. The way that you have left them mostly free of complex shading and detail also helps the white character stand out from the white background in a way that causes me to look at them rather than anything else. The shading is very well done and really brings it all together for me with this piece; it leads my eye throughout the piece and is perfect for its setting of a winter day. 

I also enjoy the stark contrast of the trees on the left-hand side of the piece, and especially the variability in them. They are not cookie-cutter trees; they look very natural, and they truly make this scene look like a believable place. 

The mood this creates is very curious for me. With the character's expression and actions -- they look up curiously or cautiously, surveying their surroundings, and their steps seem slow, the pose possibly portraying hesitance or caution -- and the austere white landscape, with the dark, dead trees... For me there is a sense of foreboding. Perhaps this is a "calm before the storm" moment. 

Whatever the mood is communicating to me, I really enjoy your artwork as always ^^ <33
