WHOA dude I just checked and saw I got Daily Deviation. Wow! Thanks so much! <3s to you guys!It's been a long time since I did a traditional dragon, and he makes me very happy. 15"H x 11"W, and it can be hung on the wall.
I think I'm going back to my roots and doing fantasy woodburnings again. I'd forgotten just how happy charring dragons, wizards and unicorns into wooden slabs made me. ^_^

HOLY CRAP!!! that blows my wood burning out of the water! it fits the grain too, how the tail wraps around the knot and the wings follow the grain.

Can I ask you a question? lol How do you transfer that onto the wood? Do you use carbon paper? Or do you free hand on the wood? Do you draw every detail or just wing it with the burner? lol I despise transferring patterns onto the wood

Yeah, once I've got a finalized sketch idea, I take the piece of wood and sketch around it on a piece of paper. I draw the image inside that outline on the paper in pencil, then go over the outlines really dark (only outlines, no detail). Then I cut it out, flip it graphite-side down on the piece of wood, and scribble all over the back.
I've actually got a book that's got some good transfer methods in it, I just haven't tried them yet. They're a lot faster than my current method. *lol* I'll look it up tonight!
