What does it have to do with those section lines around his arm and legs? Because I don't get it.

They are supposed to be magic-y tattoos. They don't really gave anything to do with the scene though

No idea if this is a reference or anything but I love how much of a story this picture tells devoid of outer context.

"Ahhh!" A sound of relief arose from her when she took the first drag. "It tastes like I'm chewing freedom!"
"Well" he chuckled and puffed a tiny blue cloud into the warm air of this lovely evening. "Make sure you remember this taste. You don't get to smoke blood stained cigarettes so often, after all."
She remained silent, quietly took a handful of breathes, before she spoke. "Blood stained cigarettes. I like the sound of those words..."
And they kept on listening to burning tobacco, as the day came to its end.
"I really like it."

My bet is "Colleagues who just met this week who have been arguing the entire time but they're perfect for each other and are pretty much a couple but haven't had a free moment to ... consummate their relationship ... until now ..."

Excellent work as always, great job!
So the jpg of this is about 16mb, could you tell me what the original psd file size is? I would guess that is over 100mb, but depending on the layers you have I could be way off. Also do you flatten your image once you're done working on it to reduce the size or do you leave it alone?

preston2694 In reply to TheMichaelMacRae [2015-08-02 14:28:02 +0000 UTC]
I feel the same way about flattening layers when I'm done with my work, because I worry that sometime I may want to come back to it and make changes, and having layers flattened would make things more difficult.
Woah, 3 gigs! That's way more than I guessed. All your artwork must take up a lot of space, is running out of hard drive space ever a concern for you?

It's like an illustration for a classic novel. This is really good. One could already see the characteristics of the people just by looking at their gestures and facial expressions.
