Always thought it was a weird term, they are the same person. The idea that a person ceases to be in something like this and is exchanged for another is silly.

I would say that a key part is if there is memory alteration involved. If they remember an entirely different past (different beyond "same past retold with them as women"), then they are pretty much a new personality.

If you want an epilogue that was something that they were just holding a poll for on the patreon. It's worth supporting the patreon so you can get in on the discussion of what stuff gets epilogues, or sequels. Besides obviously supporting the artist.
