lol. I live in SF and this sight is rare indeed! I've tried with a friend to capture a nice sunrise on numerous occasions with a friend but always to no avail. SF weather is way too wonky.

Gorgeous. I was just up there a couple of weeks ago. So 2 questions: What time in the morning is this? What manipulation (if any) did you do to it in PS?

I usually pass over the bridge aroudn 6:50 to 7AM, but the traffic has been really sucky they last few months. My camera says it was 7:27, but I think it was a little earlier than that because I was heading back down the hill at about 7:30 and it's a 3-5 minute walk out there.
I actually did quite a bit in photoshop, but the key thing I did was bracket the exposure one for the sky and one for the rest so that I could get details everywhere. It's not an HDR because the coulds were moving to fast with these long exposures, but it's some clever blending with masks and fill light and all sorts fo nonsense. I suppose I could send you a mini version of the file if you want to see the various techniques. I have no secrets
