since dragons are actually dinosaurs that the bipedal dragon like this one might be a Dracoceros "dragon horn" and he would be 40 feet tall with a 70 foot wingspan

You seem to know a lot about dragons.

Probably the most accurate "reconstruction" of a Wyvern that was ever made in modern Cryptozoology Though it would be much cooler if ther where really flying Wyverns like they are usually portrayed

I will be redesigning the wyvern for my Terra Fabulosus project.

I thought about a Wyvern like that for some time now, maybe I'll draw something similar the next days

Interesting depiction.
How does it fly?

I imagine it glides like Draco volans. I don't know if it would really work, though.

I usually just depict Wyverns as large dragon eating Pterosaur descendants. You have an interesting depiction though and it's definitely more heraldic than a prehistoric flying reptile.

I based it on an illustration from Edward Topsell's History of four-footed beasts.

What was a two footed wyvern doing in there?
I guess it must at least be close to accurate then.

Good question. I guess they didn't have a classification system back then.

Hmmm... I'm very skeptical of such a creature. Only two (suspiciously similar) sightings and the natives have never heard of it. Sounds like a hoax to me. I have been thinking of drwing a Burronjor though.

ah the stegosaur!
That'd be total sweetness also!

TheMorlock In reply to BrooksLeibee [2010-09-30 00:36:40 +0000 UTC]

Actually the Burronjor (Don't know if I spelled that correctly) is a carnivorus dinosaur cryptid from Australia. The stegosaur you are thinking of is probably Mbielu-mbeilu-mbeilu. I'll draw both.
