In Lightning's world, people are born with an affinity; a connection to a certain element like water or fire. Lightning was born with an affinity to electricity...or so he thought. Some people are born with two affinities. Only 17 people throughout history have been gifted with the Power of Balance, allowing one to tap into and control every affinity known to man. Lightning is one of those gifted few, and on his journey to stop a war from breaking out between his home kingdom and another, he must master and control whatever he can.
