Ian Brown of the Stone Roses, well...not anymore but you know what I mean.ummm this took about four hours maybe? I can't remember, I wasn't timing myself...not that I ever do actually. Well I'm very happy with this, especially his sunglasses! Maybe his stubble is a tad dodgy and his hair was a bitch to draw as well so I don't know if I like that.
The picture was taken from the NME 05 Yearbook.

This has a great sense of volume to it, which seems unusual to me because its pretty high key, and yet all the contours are nicely defined. I also looove the way you handled the transparency of the sunglasses. I'll try to check out some other stuff when I have time, so please do reply so I have a link to follow back.

four hours, i cant understand how in four hours you can get that done, its amazing. love the stone roses, and his solo stuff ain't bad either.

well, errrmm...I can? haha. I never really used to pay attention to how long it took me to draw something but I have lately and I don't really have anything to compare it to so to me four hours is pretty normal. I don't like starting on drawings and then coming back to them the next day, I have to start them and finish them straight away.
