Good Neighbors was my favorite SpongeBob, now I can't look back any of them the same way because Stephen was alive at that time.

"Unfortunately" I have nothing to do with Spongebob, I'm not a hater but I am also not a fan or near of being a fan. I can only tell the names of three characters or so and I have never properly learned who created Spongebob in the first place...until his death.
And an artist's death who brought so much joy to a lot of other people is always freaking sad, also for me. I can see why people are distraught. He wasn't that old when he passed away (and the latter was caused by a fatal illness) and he leaves a small young family behind. That is really sad.
I find that drawing of yours highly emotional and expressive. It shows the grief that people deal with now and I am sure his fictional "children" here would be this sad, too.
