I hate how sonic developed. Since he turned out to a copy of Dragonball Z... i lost absolut all my interest in the character.He represents all what the industry and tasteless players can do to a good concept of a character.
When i say something bad about the furry fanfiction... then i get killed here... i guess...
well i don't mind...I hate you furry perverts and your molesting of the character and the design.
Razorsharp 'design' (like Loonatics), anime influence, idiotic smile and a arrogant character... that is the way to destroy him and all charme.
Yeah how cool he is now...wow.

the Style and art is Good and all⦠but... wasnt Sonic ALWAYS has some anime influence (like the Opening sequence in CD or Super-Sonic wich was introduced in Sonic 2), and ALWAYS had an Arrogant character (the Cartoons, Comics, in Commercials) and even Razorsharp designs ifor those who live in the US even from the Classic Sonic Era. and you know what make him iconic in the first place making him stand out from Mario and attracting the Teenage/Older Demographic wich is what Sonic was made for since the very begging?

But I think hating Sonic is boring because I saw some good Sonic OCs or good fanΒ arts, we have some good modern videogames and tv shows.
Both Mario and Sonic are good, same with PokΓ©mon and Digimon, both are good.

Oh, modern Sonic isn't that bad, but some game seriesΒ of modern era like Sonic Adventure, Sonic Advance, Sonic Heroes, Sonic 4 Episode 1 & 2, Sonic Generations, Sonic Rush, SonicΒ andΒ Sega all-stars racing, some Sonic mobile gamesΒ are actually good.
Sonic X is pretty decent, but isn't that terrible.
But Sonic Boom is really disgrace of Sonic franchise.

They are new villains. And the game is going for a different direction since Eggman and Sonic have to work together. As Aaron Webber said, It's going to change the way you look at Eggman and you'll be suprised by the things he says.

Furthermore, I doubt that they can skew my perception of Eggman any further. He went from evil genius who has bold enough to aim a gun at Amy (SA2) to a mindless oaf that Sonic doesn't even take seriously anymore (Colors). Unless he starts aiming weapons at Sonic and friends again, I have no hope for him.
As it stands, I have little interest in the game. Maybe when some cutscenes come out and we actually get a glimpse of the plot, then maybe my opinion will change.

He aimed two guns at Sonic and Jet over a carpet in Sonic Riders, but let me guess, you haven't played that either. The story for Lost World is as follows: Eggman travels to the Lost Hex to force the gaurdians to build Eggmanland for him, they rebel against him, causing him to work with Sonic. The villains are actually from a race on their planet called the Zeti, hence why there are not many of them around. Yeah he pulled out guns, but he completely ruined the moment by acting like an oaf when Sonic and Jet laughed at his "threat". In SA2, Eggman's threat was met with seriousness, and Sonic even unknowingly walked into a trap to save Amy which nearly resulted in his death.
1: I know about the story. I read it. Eggman already built Eggmanland in Unleashed, so plot hole Number 1 introduced.Β
2: Of course the Deadly Six are going to rebel against Eggman. Every monster Eggman had under his control betrayed him. Nothing new here.
3: Oh boy...a race of aliens from another planet. Hmm...Sounds like something I've heard before. Oh that's right. The Babylonians were descendants of aliens. Not many of them around either.
4: Yeah...I've seen that trailer, too. Not impressed, especially with the introduction of power ups, which is the main reason why I lost interest in the game. Sonic has become Mario Jr. They may as well give him a Power Star and Mushrooms.Β
I also never cared for the Wisps. They're cute in the storyline, but they shouldn't be included in the gameplay. Still, I understand why they were included in Colors's gameplay, but now they're back when they supposedly went home at the end of Colors (Plothole 2)? I smell a gimmick.
"Lay down and die"....Yippee. Lest we all forget that Eggman is always telling Sonic to "die" and that he'll "destroy him". Hell, in Sonic 2006 (whether you acknowledge the game or not) Mephiles actually goes ahead and kills Sonic. Everyone hated the "seriousness/edginess" of prior games, but now let's lose our heads because the Rainbow Yeti told Sonic to die. Unless he actually attempts to kill Sonic, I'm betting his threats are empty.Β

1. That eggmanland got taken down, dude, remember the giant hole in it leading to the center of the planet where Sonic fought the Egg Dragoon? That's what destroyed it.
2.,So?! It's not his fault he can't keep control over them. They even referenced it in the current official Sonic and Mega man crossover comic when Dr. Light mentions the past creatures Eggmans encountered.
3. At least the Zeti still have their planet, but its not like you care about that detail anyway.
4. It's rated E10+ because of the references to dying and a character even mentions genocide. But of course you don't care about ESRB ratings. The American writers for this game write for the gory internet cartoon Happy tree friends. Wisps are OPTIONAL, you don't have to use them if you don't want to, they are only required if you want to take a different route. And how the Hell is this game like Mario? If anything, its hearkening back to the cancelled Sonic x-Treme, a game that was started but never finished in the Saturn era. And like Aaron webber said "it will all make sense once you play the game"
