Sonic Colors is okay. Sonic GENERATIONS is good.

I tried it and I didn't like its inertia (or better, the lack of it).

Safe to say Sonic became Sega's primary mascot in the same way Mario is for Nintendo. I bet there are a bunch of forgotten ones, I'm thinking of Ristar and the spaceship from Fantasy Zone, oh, and Earthworm Jim was pretty cool too. But I must admit, this one's new to me (I didn't get a lot of games as a kid, not until the N64 era anyway
