My first and favourite game on the Game Boy Advance (man I feel like the only person to say this and not some installment of Pokemon instead) I stupidly played the lands in the wrong order and found myself battling this guy earlier on than I should - no wonder I found it so hard The Wario games are so crazy and creative and have a challenge to them that Mario tends to lack (I love Mario games but you know they're too easy when you have 99 lives by the time your'e up to the 4th world) Wario Land Shake Dimension on Wii was also good and played very similarly to this one and definitely had some references to it (having to dash back to the beginning of the level, Wario being set on fire etc) You captured the insanity of CatBat here (wow I even remember his name) very well and seeing this now makes me wish Nintendo will make another Wario Land game for the Switch
