Description
A rough design for Abel, another character from 'Red Locust.' I love the tentacle hair thing, I always have since that weird baby in Men in Black
Just to note, I have seen a lot of characters with this kind of hair and this isn't a deliberate attempt to copy anyone. I designed this character a long time before DA - he's 14 years old and lives in a slum on a remote moon station, which is where he meets my main characters. Though he wants to be a success he struggles to behave, as the schools are poorly run, and he often gets into trouble with other youths of his age. Once the descendant of a proud race, his mother migrated to find her own fortune but ended up unable to leave the station for lack of money. Hence they are rather a shell of their former species, dressed in shabby human wear, rather then the once tribal attire of their ancestors.
