This was pretty much just a raw scan. I may have brought the levels up for the black line though ^^ That's why the paper looks so icky haha.

thank you! And that is a very interesting idea. I try not to alter them too much but sometimes it can bring out rich colours that get lost in the scan ^^

I've always wondered about the interaction with tusks/fangs in intimate interactions like this. I imagine the races that do have them have to be extra careful.
Also, gotta add my dwaaaa in as well. Great job with this entire series. If I didn't have such an hatred of drawing children, I'd try this sort of thing too, it's a great way to get to know characters.

haha thank you! Yeah tusks can get in the way, but he has a lower jaw, and they sort of face outward. He's also much bigger than she is (she was standing on something in the original sketch) so I imagine she has plenty of kissing space.
Why not try drawing children? They are quite a different thing to draw. Might be fun ^^

I have drawn children in the past, mostly for various animation projects. But overall my experience with them in real life has lead to a mostly universal hatred for the spawn of our species. The stories and adventures of them don't interest me, nor do i tailor my stories to appeal to them as becoming a target audience.

haha fair enough. Certainly in animation children are a common occurrence. And indeed, they can be very...potato like. Are you interested in adult audience animation instead?

I'm more interested in adult audiences in general principle, not just limited to animation. Specifically, people who will be willing to look beyond glitzy action/explosions/quick rewards, and are instead interested in a setting with layers of depth that are not instantly apparent.
I suppose i'm not beyond creating art/projects for children, if there is payment being offered. But for my own time, I'll always create works for my own age group.

You have to do what you love. Personally, I think it's good to find a compromise between the two - the best work I have been inspired by was what I saw when I was a child, that wasn't afraid to bring in certain mature elements and ideas. Subtleties and such, I think.
