How does a photographer go about getting shots like this? Did you just walk into a classroom and start shooting kids' feet? I want to be a photographer, but some things I see pictures of leave me wondering how they got to take the picture.

The trick is to always have a camera. Always. My family laughs at me hauling around my DSLR so i got a canon g11, its a fantastic, smaller digital camera that suits every need and then some.
