I tryed to draw a Blue/purple dragon... :/ ugh I am better to draw canines can I said! ^^'. But done on free hand in cs5 with a mouse..I am not the person who draw Dragons but it was funny to draw it.
GIVE ME ........................ A ........................... TABLET??!, I being crazy. ..

Anyhoo, I think the fire could use some depth by using different colors in it, like orange or red, or something. There's also this little 'C' shaped line in the fire that bothers me a little. Sorry!! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="19" height="19" alt="
The scales' shading/lighting is a little off, sorry! Try to have the lighter parts of each scale facing the light source; possibly the fire. The darker sides should be facing away from the fire.
I really like how you did the 'fin'-like scales by the back of its head. I'm not sure if using the smudge tool at the ends of them was the best idea, but it still looks good.
