Personality: 374 words -- Encouraging, Vocal, Intuitive, Snarky, Workaholic, Troublesome --
Encouraging -- Malakai's behavior typically leans towards the negative side because of his past in being expected to do great things and live up to the standards of ones before him, but with encouragement from his littermates and parents who resided in the same setting as he, Malakai instinctively adopted their take on things, to be encouraging towards other's cause, even if it was with a prickly attitude like his own.
Vocal -- Malaki has no fear in voicing his opinions. With a ranged pitch of barks he is able to produce, Malakai's able to portray all sorts of tone and emotion to back his words with makes him rather unique. This Spitz has the capabilities to be respectful, sometimes, but usually opts to instead offer his input, especially where it is not needed.
Intuitive -- Malakai may be naturally bright and intelligent, but he is more intuitive for sure. With making more educated guesses instead of clean-cut logic, Malakai's very convincing with his craft but also makes decisions from instinct or a gut-feeling.
Snarky -- Malakai is very snarky and snide by making critical and unnecessary comments that easily could come across as dead-set annoying or even as mockery. He is known to be rude and sarcastic and typically only dogs with 'thick skin' will be able to make light or make humor out of his personality.
Workaholic -- Malakai likes to move and be athletic, and with this, he strives to work, work, and work more, which is a part of his history that's stuck with him. He thinks time spent to just converse to lay around is for the lazy and when speaking with someone, he strives to learn something new or take a part in an activity he has never done before. With pent up energy inside the small bundle, it has got to be released at as constant of a rate as possible.
Troublesome -- Malakai's a difficult dog, he does not like rules to follow or dogs to copy. He wants to be his own, the original Malakai, and with this, leads into problems. With the pack, Malakai is in no way as submissive as he should be and is prone to be obnoxious, loud, and boisterous, especially if he is not receiving attention.

Pre-Group History: 303 words
Malakai was born of a purebred line of the breed Finnish Spitz by two champions of the most prestigious kennel club in the area and was expected to do great things during his youth that would be displayed through competition in pure-bred shows. Of his litter, Malakai was definitely the most troublesome for his handlers and was trained very hard to be what was expected. Disliking obedience, Malakai rebelled and it led to his fear of isolation when being separated from others. His handlers were kind but strict and soon, through positive reinforcement.
His first show came much more quickly than it should have and there was little expectation of it going great, but instead well, which was very wrong. Malakai barked and barked, he disliked being touched by strangers, also known as the judges, and refused to put his tail in the typically flopped curl over his back like the others of his breed. His handlers were disappointed and tried very hard to correct the mistakes that Malakai continually made until they had no choice.
After damaging his family's reputation, Malakai was, after a walk, unclipped from his leash and left to fend for himself, cast out from his family. Malakai's nose is excellent, he knew he could find his way back home, but his handlers had never once left him alone like so, and instinct told him he was done. The smaller dog immediately took to adapting to the streets and meeting the locals until being able to weed out his young naivety and selfishness. He transformed into an instict-driven and witty dog. He, nearing his second year of age, was recruited to a coalition called a pack. Vryheid Van Siel Pack, to be specific.
Life apparently drove him in the direction of the pack and Malakai's future awaited with them.
