ah you see, I love this one. It has a really personal sort of look like "this is me, deal".
I can see how practicing realism and such can get very boring for everyone involved, though I'm glad you got to the point where you did all of this blocky sort of colour thing going on.
Just my silly opinion... but you could keep this sort of style, but really open up the soul. You know, the wind and the cranes are really fresh and the subject isn't "posing". Very candid. People like this and I would guess that you probably had fun with it too.
