The waves of space lash at me
My body is torn apart
But I would go through it and worse
Just to get beyond
Beyond the realm of reality
To that place in my mind
Where everything was alright once
Where time meant nothing
And I was nothing
As I look into Oblivion
I look into myself

My favorite part is the yellow and red edges of what I perceive to be an eye looking outwards into oblivions, but that's just my interpretation.

sharpies rock the house! on thanksgiving day i was obsessively drawing to try to avoid freaking out cause my family is just too much and my red sharpie craped out at an inopportune point. i was so obsessed that i got in the car immediately and went and bought 10 fine point black ones and 10 ultra fine point ones and completely forgot to buy a red one. lol! totally random, but sharpie related anyway. i saw your journal that a lot of your usual groups were rejecting this work (i think it was this one) but i just put it in the shapist group and as i was submitting some of my stuff to various groups, i saw this several times. does that mean things got better later, or do you usually put things in lots more groups than are listed on the right?
anyway, i like it a lot!

Oh now, that was a previous work. My piece titled return, and don't worry about that journal. I was drunk and in a pissy mood, and it's now my personal opinion that the other piece isn't up the quality standards of my better pieces, so it's quite alright.

I love how you used the colos on this one, it brings out a very strong mood that changes depending on how you interpret it (which I will most likely find myself doing for hours on end today
