twas a hdr with a few seconds between exposures that gave the riding sky. The exif only shows the shortest shutter but I went down 6 seconds bracketing! how you been mikey?

That makes it extra awesome!!!!

I usually do my HDR's off a single raw, rather than going to the actual effort you have!

I may have to get the tripod out and have a play! How many stopd do you put in between exposures?

Things are all good here for me, but still taking more han i process! I think I need to be strict with myself and get shots done as soon as I do them!!

i think there were seven shots for this. I use the live view and histogram and shoot more pics under than over, and just drop it down until i can just see a bit of the sky. Dunno if thats right or wrong!

Ahhh, that explains the mood of your shots!!

I usually do one exposure 2 stops under, one at zero and one 2 stops over!

I may have to give your method a go!
