DCU - Superboy

Part of my DCU characters deviations!

For Superboy the choice was easy! Firstly... all the costumes he has ever worn SUCK!!! And secondly, although he is the clone of the person who invented the "underwear-over-pants", he has also Luthor's human DNA, therefore, I bet, that in his mind, he is way too cool to wear tights!

He is the boy who will, eventually, grow up to be a Superman! And Superman is DCU's ideal! The best thing in the universe! That's a great responsibility, but now he is still a teen! Which means... he now sees the world as a teen-heir to a great kingdom! He is the Lion King's "Oh just can wait to be king"! His pick up line wouldn't be "I can lift a station wagon with my finger" - cause that is not as important -, it would be "I'm going to be Superman!". Considering his Luthor DNA part, he might even have the arrogance to believe he is going to be a better Superman!

So yeah, the "t-shirt-and-jeans" look is the obvious costume design for him! I, even, gave him the tattoo... cause because of all the above... it fits!
