Back to the classics ! Calamity's always been my favorite companion in Fallout: Equestria.Enclave power armor + random sniper rifle + lightning because it looks cool.

Nah, I considered using Spitfire's Thunder, but it's an AMR, not a simple sniper rifle. I have no idea why I didn't use it, tho.

not really accurate enclave power armour. ^-^; but otherwise, it looks utterly fantastic. the armour you have designed is extremely cool,. the lighting, the shading and the art style is fantastic and its one of the best portrayals of calamity I've seen.

There's no "accurate" version of the power armor since it's only vaguely described as a light armor designed by Rarity, but I'm still curious as to why you'd point that out ?

Actually its described as a sleek design, aerodynamic with a carapace base. Not at all like the enclave in the fallout game, except for the muzzle which while never described, probably could have the similar gas mask feel. but a carapace design suggests sleak, its described as dark or black, shiny, all elegant curves. the kind you'd expect from being created via arcane unicorn magic rather than the rugged and bulky design of technology that earth ponies provide. It didn't have lights, wasn't bulky, and was also said to be based ever so slightly off an armoured version of the wonderbolts outfit.
But thats okay. I'm not rejecting your piece. the design you made looks fucking amazing, the art you've delivered is fantastic, and I stand by my point that its one of the best, and even one of the most accurate versions of calamity I've seen. you are a fantastic artist. A missed detail because the book isn't the best with armour descriptions isn't that big of a deal. ^-^ It doesn't distract from the piece or dismiss the obvious talent it took to draw it.

np. I actually found the passages where it describes it.
βThe poster was of a pegasus fully encased in sleek black armor. The armor looked fearsome, almost insectoid. The battle saddle looked like an onyx carapace with two antennae jutting out, tips crackling with magical green energy.β
βAround the curtained partition stepped the shadow out of a nightmare. A blue pegasus pony who was encased in a black, insectoid carapace, with only the front of her muzzle and the undersides of her wings showing. Her tail was hidden within a scorpion-like sheath with a vicious, barbed stinger. The ebony suit of armor was sleek and wicked. Yellow-orange protective goggles with a bug-like compound eye-pattern completed the look. Built into the sides of the suit were antenna-like protrusions; the crystals that tipped those magical-energy weapons shimmered with shifting rainbow light.β
I think I'm gonna commission an artist to do a proper pic sometimes, because I've noticed all the pictures of the enclave armour just look like steel ranger armour with wings. which is actually why I love yours so much, because for once its actually original and pretty damn awesome, accuracy be damned.

I'm not going exactly for a canon representation of the characters this time around. If I draw them, characters like Xenith will look a lot more like a shaman, for example. Hence the mechanical wings and the random sniper instead of Spitfire's Thunder.

This is strange. I like armor and rifle, but I don't like face. Can't tell if it is because I somewhy don't like the character or it is just face.
