Dude, this is a pretty good shot, but you need to chill out. When people offer their opinion you don't need to snap at them and chew their faces off. By uploading this picture you put it out there for everyone to see, and by allowing comments you let people tell you what they thought of the picture. If you aren't willing to accept comments that don't praise you then don't allow comments on the picture.

Well, this sure is something.
Firstly I'd like to point out, that this is def. a very cool idea and it did catch my eye.
But, it doesn't impress me.
And before we get all "omigod I do what I want fuck off bruh", I'd like to point out that it just doesn't seem like a strong image, in my opinion.
Let's say repeat that.

It doesn't matter if you're an amateur, or the best that the artistic community has to offer. Everyone has their own opinion. And just the fact that, you feel the need to jump down someone's throat because they decide that this picture, albeit talented photography or not, isn't their fancy..just makes this dd all the less appealing.
And again, I'm not saying that you have little talent as a photographer..but it just seems like you're being rather ungrateful.

I appreciate that you put your opinion in a more intelligent way, but I actually don't really care about the people who comment like idiots. I do the art for me, as therapy, so if someone doesn't understand something they can figure it out for themselves.

It's a great picture and deserves a DD, but at the same time when I read your description it just turned me off.
We all know what it's like to have people criticize us, or bash us, but at the same time fighting fire with fire gets you nowhere.
I would suggest just ignoring the rude comments and focusing more on the positive ones.
This piece would be much better if the viewer read a delightful or pleasant description instead of one that sounds like you don't care what they think.

it's better then most photo DDs l8ly... I don't think it's the best but it's very interesting I just wish the "crisp" one wasn't partly blurred & the middle one was more in the middle cause it seems alot closer to the bad side I do think on the creepy factor alone it did deserve the DD but you don't have to be so mean to everyone for not kissing your ass

Spend more time responding to positive comments and less time cussing out people with even the slightest objection. Irony is I thought this was a cool image until I saw how vehemently and rudely critical comments were being handled. Congrats on the DD, anyway. The image deserves it.

Wow, people are being dicks about this. What I don't understand is why. Just think of it this way - if they're going out of their way so much as to write why they don't like something, clearly they're looking for some validation in their lives they think can be attained by trolling. I wouldn't take it too harshly. With a lot of recognition comes a lot of shit feedback. But since I'm taking time to write about why I LIKE this, I think that's the kind of comment you should remember at the end of the day. Taking simple elements and combining them for a whole more potent then the parts alone is a skill, and you really deserved the DD.

My only complaint about this AWESOME picture is that the blood looks a bit off...kind of like he ate a messy candy apple. But besides that, I love it. Gleeful vampires are always a sight to behold.
