It's been nearly a decade since Unleashed has been released and it's crazy how public opinion changed for this game. First it was considered to be a game with good intentions but that ultimaly flopped, putting it on the level as Heroes. Then many people called it an underrated gem for a while and now, it's considered overrated. I mean, just make up your mind for Christ's sake.

Regardless of what you think about Unleashed, this game impacted the series for the better

I personnally think it's a solid game despite his flaws, the main one being the Werehog stages. Now look, I get some people love it, but for me, they're almost as tedious as Shadow's 30 minutes stages in his own game. (Keyword "almost". I would take these levels anyday against Shadow The Hedgehog's stages)
