Description
Hopefully not everyone will know what this is, and if you do know, then I'm sure you'll agree.Let's just say it's a book of old tales.
Just something reasonably subtle (For my own sake) that is actually my first ever proper render using Vray.
Came out rather well, I love that thing already.
Not perfect however, and although it's besides my better judgement to release it as-is, I may aswell release it now whilst I can.

Both this and the second version where made in 3DSMax, a 3D modeling program. Made by myself, yes

Sadly, but like I said on the other version of this, people have proposed this would make a great design on a scrap book or sketch pad, which is a pretty cool idea that's worth trying at some point.

this would make a very good scrap book or sketch pad. i would buy the sketch pad, being the traditional artist i am. You should try it! also, very good on this digital art, it looks soooooo realistic

I used 3dsMax to model it, and it was rendered in Vray.
Most of the materials are standard with the exception of the leather bumpmap and the wood (Specular and bump aswell)
