Eventually Rebecca arrived some forty minutes later than they had planned to meet, due to being stuck behind an accident on the motorway on her way there. Although she could not be certain at first glance, Nicola had the funny feeling that Becky had put on a few since they had last met. It looked as if her middle was looking a little softer than it had been previously. It seemed odd that she would have, given what she said back at the wedding, but it did if minor look as if she was a little heavier.
