Description So these are Sebastian (Right) and Dimitri (Left)
They are Siberian Forest Cats - Purebred. While I am all for rescuing animals - My mother and sister are highly allergic to cats and so in order for my dad to have one (two...) we needed hypoallergenic cats. These two do not mess with my mother or my sister allergy wise unless they are in need of a bath!

They are half brothers! They have the same mom, different dad.

Some handsome boys! Very interesting to hear SFCs are hypoallergenic. I've been looking into the idea of hairless when Max and I live together; both of us are fairly allergic to long haired cats for some reason. Plus who wouldn't love a nakey baby.

They are the loves of my life (Next to my Doughnut and my Chloe ) But they were expensive because they had to be purebred. But yea - they dont bother my mom and sister unless they need a bath (The cats, not my sister/mom haha!)

Apparently its the saliva that is the allergen ? And the darker the colour the more allergens they have and females have less than males - from what I understand

Lost my shit @ the idea of your sister and mom having to bathe dgjlk;
That's pretty wild! Do your mom and sister have to avoid being licked, then?

Nope, them being licked doesnt bother them. I think its when the saliva dries on the fur is when it starts to get back for people?

(I KNOWRIGHT?)
