“Well, well, well! Lazy bums! You’ll never get dry that way!”
Rogue's brow scrunched. She knew that voice!
“UP, UP, UP! Move it, Bub! You’re slowing down the others!”
“Come on, mon ami! Remy been runnin’ fo’ hours! N’ he still be wet as when he came!”
Rogue's eyes snapped open. Remy! The door! The water!
“Oh mah God, Ahm dead.” She said with disbelief. All of the sudden, someone grabbed her arm, and dragged her to her feet.
“Not dead, just wet. Outsiders are always SO dramatic. Bunch of pansy-ass cry babies! Like Gumbo there! I’m trying tah do him a favor, and he repays us by having a temper tantrum!”
Rogue swung around to gape at none other than Logan. “LOGAN!?! What are YA doing here?”
The man looked at her as if she was insane, and shook his head. “Name ain’t Logan, It’s Dodo. And you’re holdin’ up the line!”
Rogue had to force back a snicker and a mountain of several cheesy punch lines the Kurt in her head had immediately come up with upon the word ‘Dodo’.
“What line?” She demanded, digging her nails into her palm to force back Kurt and now, Evan's, jokes from spilling out of her. Logan…err, Dodo,… pointed behind her.
Rogue turned to see Bobby, Amara, Rahne, Roberto, Jamie, Ray, Jubilee, and Remy all lined up behind her, jogging in place. Looking down at her feet, Rogue noted that there was a thin, worn line were she was standing. It would seem they were all running, single file, around the large boulder upon which Logan was standing. And everyone of them was drenched. It wasn’t all that hard to figure out why, Rogue realized, when the tide suddenly came in. It covered the island completely, only the head of the boulder stood above the water, so Logan was nice and dry. The tide retreated only minutes after it came sweeping in, but Rogue was already drenched beyond recognition.
“Mah make-up! Mah hair! Mah…” Rogue was about to say clothes, when she remembered what she was wearing, and shrugged.
“What are you lazy bums waiting for? Start running! If you ever want to get dry, you’ve got to keep on moving!"

My second piece that goes with
Rogue in Wonderland by AthenaAlpha , created as the first piece was not allowed on my the gallery of the old art site I was on (apparently you can't have someone with a raised middle finger in your image...)

I missed out a few of the younguns who were running, sticking with Bobby, Jubilee, Ray and Rahne.

I am quite proud of this piece, it took me awhile to get around finishing it but I love how it turned out. It was my first time drawing Logan, Bobby, Jubliee, Rahne and Ray but I love how Logan and Rahne turned out! I am also quite proud of my Remy this time, he is much better in this than the first RiW picture.
