I've always wanted to do this. But group shots like this tend to be a bit...expensive, even with some of the more cheaper artists out there. I've always had this idea in mind of a group pic of Malaya and her tribe all wrapped up by a gloating Onimara. Heck, there were a few close calls where that almost happened, until the deals fell through due to various circumstances.

But thankfully, I got a version done, thanks to my turn in fortunes and 's recent commission sale. It also allowed me to experiment with a particular perspective I've wanted to try, a kind of "lineup" pic but from the side instead of in front. This one is not quite that way, more a slight 3/4 angle, but it works for now. Big kudos to Serdna for doing this.
