Jeez. Me and my 2x2=Ninjanonsense (Shinobuden) obsession. It's no use denying it..I like drawing the girls for some reason.

Oh, well. Everyone needs a favorite, right?

But anyway, this is my latest drawing in my journey to "perfection". A solo Shinobu to counter the "overcrowded" Shinobuden drawing I did last.
I have been using my various "how to draw manga" books, both bought and downloaded, to try to improve my style as well as the extend of what I can actually draw.

So this drawing was an test to see if I could draw one of the poses in the book (it might look a bit of, it was a fairly hard pose, believe it or not) and a background directly to the paper.

As (who's stuff you should check out, srsly) inspired me to try harder at having an drawn background in more drawings.

However, even a simple background like that (similar to what I did with my last Shinobuden drawing) was hard enough.

Oh, and I should mention that I was trying out a shading style slightly different to my usual. It's a bit more simple and cell shaded looking (to the trained eye anyway) but it shouldn't look too much different. Just trying to get that anime look better down, you know?

I hope you guys like it. These last few days have been hard on me do to my allergy. So completing this piece finally is a relief! XD
