I know huh?!?
When I first start working with polymer clay that ALWAYS happens.
What I do now:

1.) I let the charm sit out for about eh, 1 hour (away from dust/lint) and than I do the bite mark.

2.) You can put your charm in the freezer (but you have to work fast) than of course you do your bite mark.

haha nope :3 Its made with a flower cutter (it's the pedal part)
