Description
The events of Arc 2 happen almost identical until Subaru finds a eye when confronting the mabeasts. At first he wanted to ignore it and save rem until the eye gets into his left eye and he starts to scream. Ram wanted to save him as she though he is dying until she is horrified seeing his body changed to resemble a lizard humanoid body as he begins to slaughter the mabeasts. Subaru after killing a few mabeast starts to change again and ram though he turned to a ground dragon as he starts attacking the other mabeasts
She at first thinks he's just scratching them and leaving them alive until to her horror, the mabeasts turned more lizard like and immediately follow Subaru as if he's leading them. He leads them to kill the other remaining creatures and saves rem. Ram catches up and though that Subaru will kill her sister until she sees him in a more humanoid and gently picks her up and smiling softly at her. Subaru carried her to ram and spoke "take her home" he said leaving ram more confuse then ever as she didn't understand all this with him. Subaru followed the mabeast he turned as they lead him to a girl he saw earlier in the village, Meili. At first he was wondering what she's doing until she was holding a puppy that immediately turned to a mabeast which was immediately killed the mabeast he transformed.
Now realizing meili was behind this, he and his mabeasts stare at her as she shivers in fear
