A warrior as skilled as she was deserved the opportunity to fight for her life on the field of battle. Instead, she was going to be shot down by someone hidden in the shadows of Druadach Redoubt. He was beginning to hate this job.

Julia could sense that he was staring at her. She was sure that he was undressing her with his eyes. She was embarrassed to realize that she actually didn't mind. She turned to him.

"Time to get going. Madanach has waited long enough."

"You're right. Let's go."
