Hey guys, I'd like you to meet the two mane characters of a small project I'm working on. The earth pony is called Charger and I'm sure you all know who the filly is. But just in case ye don't, it's Lauren Faust's ponysona. Charger is actually based on a pony teddy I've had since I was little. I hope to actually start it over the summer when I have more free time and after season 4 of MLP wraps up. Like most of you I really want to know whats the dealio with that box and I hope they give more info on the Tree of Harmony. It'll definitely help my story a bit.

The idea for the story came to me when I actually got to meet the awesome Lauren Faust at Bronycon 2012. I brought Charger with me to the convention cos even though he's not a My Little Pony pony, he's still a pony darn it. I even got a photo of Lauren holding him. As I was talking to Lauren, the gears in my head started to turn and the idea for a story revolving around Charger and Laurens ponysona came to be.

I'll be using the fandoms name for Fausts ponysona Rosetta. Though Charger never really calls her that. He always calls her Rosie.

I finally started working out the details and plot for the story in the last year. Real life kept getting in the way but now thanks to season 4 of MLP, it really has helped me with the project. Oh and I definitely should mention that I was also inspired by the amazing artwork made by .

Now, here's a bit of info about Charger:

Shortly after the land Equestria was formed, a 17 year old Charger wanted to join the Royal Gaurd to prove to the other types of ponies, the unicorns and pegasi that earth ponies could do more then just farm. True they lacked magic and wings, but what the earth ponies had is strength and stamina. Once Charger turned 18 he and quite a few other earth ponies from his village joined the Guard and boy did they prove their worth. Over the years he quickly rose through the ranks becoming a captain and earning the respect from all the other ponies.

Charger is also quite big for an Earth Pony, he's nearly as tall as Celestia ( I'll work out a size chart later) and he has incredible strength. When he joined the Guard, a lot of the other ponies thought he would be too clumsy given his size or that he may have the brawn but not the brain to go with it. But he proved them wrong. His brain and brawn became a valuable asset to the Guard.

Personality wise, he looks like a big tough guy but really, is a big tough guy. But he is a caring and loyal pony. He'll always put others before himself. Back when he joined the Guard, quite a few ponies tried to take advantage of that but they quickly learned not too. If pushed too far, Charger can be a force to be reckoned with. And being a captain of the Royal Guard he takes his job very seriously.

His whole life does a 180 when he meets a little Goddess.

So anyhoo, the story with these two takes place about twenty years after the 3 tribes joined forces and formed their new land Equestria in the episode "Hearths Warming Eve".

There was always one thing that I wondered about after that episode. Why were Celestia and Luna on the flag the three tribes used at the end of the episode? They weren't around then so why were they on the flag? I've always wondered about that. So anyway this is where my head cannon begins. Celestia and Luna don't show up for a long time in my universe. Not till about 4 or 5 hundred years later after the forming of Equestria.

I don't wanna reveal too much of the story so I reckon that's all for now.
