So this post is a long time coming. I drew these sketches maybe... a month or so ago? I don't quite remember why I held off on posting them (probably because it's MORE FANART oh dear) but here they are!

So this is a compilation of sketches I made focused around the future AU for The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal by E.K. Weaver aka and what would happen if TJ and Amal went on a trip to Hyderabad, India and visited Amal's family. Most of this is just about the silly that might happen on the plane trip because 1) It's possible that this could be TJ's first plane ride and therefore crazy first plane ride heebie jeebies could ensue (although I personally am ALWAYS kind of freaked out turbulence) and 2) It's a hellaciously long plane trip. I've only been on a ten hour plane ride before and that was ridiculous. And I wanted to do this set of sketches that showed some of that time, and how they'd just, you know, be silly while waiting for it to end.

The last set of sketches, however, is the part that really made me fall in love with the idea of them going on this sort of trip. For the two of them to go to Hyderabad it would mean that a serious long term relationship would have solidified. It would also mean that Amal has been able to regain a good relationship with his family AND (this part makes me smile on the inside a lot) TJ would be accepted into Amal's family and could get some really good familial loving. It just aaah, it's like my best case scenario for this story all rolled into one trip, it would just be so awesome. Originally I had planned on doing more of these, showing more of the trip once they'd actually touched solid ground, but I ran out of go go juice.

(Also, wouldn't a Veer-Zaara reference be fantastic for the plane ride? I wish I could have done something where TJ compares Amal to SRK, but alas. The muse is a fickle bitch.)
