Fly.Well, I decided to draw a sequel to a piece I've drawn a while ago: [HQ] Defeat
While the other one was about the moment in which Karasuno lost against Seijoh, this one shows the moment they won and got their 'revenge'.
Ahhh my god when I watched that episode I got all teary and was soo happy for them ;;;;;
Well, I cry a lot while watching Haikyuu in general, be it out of joy, out of sadness or just because it's hilarious orz
& I was generally in the mood to draw some happy Nishioka, because it's been a while since I drew them.

This is such a lovely, lovely piece! It's like a little piece of sunshine that warms the soul ❤
I love the contrasts between each picture. You can feel the heartache of "Defeat" made deeper with the darker colors and background that you chose there. In "Victory", it's so much more lighter and sweeter! The background is much brighter, and Nishinoya really stands out here with his orange uniform too. (It's....like...Nishinoya IS the sun in that uniform, does that make sense? In "Defeat" he is wearing the tracksuit, which is black so it's like the sun was clouded over.....orz)
So what I'm trying to say is that you did such an excellent job showing off both their defeat and their utter joy when they are victorious ❤ and it's wonderful ❤

In all honesty, I actually thought about that when drawing the 2. part!
While I didn't do it on purpose in the 'defeat' part, I thought it would give the drawing
a happier and warmer vibe if I drew Nishinoya with the orange shirt ♥
Well, it was also because I imagined that Nao would've run to him right after the game
finished so he wouldn't even have a chance to put his jacket on XD
And aah, I didn't think of him being the sun, but he IS Nao's sun after all ^////^
