Badges we made for our team. Scott located and created the bases, adding the cog. We each touched up our own, adding personalised symbols. Mine bears a dip-nib for an old fashioned pen. Also touched up the colours slightly, though that doesn't really come up in the photos.Related content

so where did the idea for all this steampunk stuff come from

Well, we started out with the most outrageous team name we could come up with - the Royal Omnitolgical Society for Electrodyne Adventurers. Then we came up with characters, based on the roles we would each play. We currently have a Journalist (me), a Botanist, a Mechanic, an Engineer, a Scientist (mad), the Pilot and a Work Experience Student. All our props came off ideas based on these characters. We have more people joining - I think we have a Medic now too.
