I know I'm a bit late, but I wanna give my little spiel on this amazing game.
Undertale came out September 15, 2015. Admittedly, I was late on the hype train, but after a few weeks of its release I had to give it a go. And boy, was I blown away. Coming from games that were about jumping, slashing, catching, and smashing, I didn't know what to expect. What I was given wasn't just a game, but an experience. The characters, the story, the world that immersed you was all perfect and interesting. I could easily forget a Mario puzzle game or an Angry Birds spinoff, the Undertale stays in my head, in my heart. It made me feel, made me laugh, made me cry. I can't stop reading the many Undertale AUs, listening to comic dubs, watching animations. This is a game I can't get enough of.
And now, it's been a year. We've had UnderSwap, Undertale the Musical, Underpants (it's actually really funny), Underfell, and an increasing amount of content based on this one game. Even in this, I can't convey how much this game means to me, both by itself and with the fans who make it lasting and even better. So thank you Toby Fox, thank you content creators, and thank you to anyone who has played this game. Here's to another year of Undertale.
