Thank you! I use Prismacolor (and sometimes Faber Castell) pencils and Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolour pans ^_^

Do you use watercolor pencils, ever, or strictly "normal" watercolors? Β Which part do you do first, the watercoloring, or the pencilwork?

I am not sure that watercolor brand is easy to get to in the US--though I'd have to check, because my limited watercolor work has been with watercolor pencils.

Prismacolor and Faber Castell are a lot easier to find here.

To be honest I don't have too much experience in watercolours.. I never really use the pencils or tubes, just my little pan set that's easy to carry around. I tend to just get some colours down with the watercolour as a base colour, then go over it with pencils.

Yes, I tried out some Prismacolor especially because I heard they were good in the US!
