A photo of one of the acetate paint slides used to film 'Aerosol Amoeba', which is available online at www.vimeo.com/16585691The photographed area is never more than 4cm squared and has been shot with a macro lens to bring out each slide's infinite and intricate beauty.

I saw it was 144 hours of motion, but how much time did it take to create a single slide?

Well for the film, I shot each slide for around four hours (and then sped the result up) but these slides have been like this for four or five months. Since the paint was sandwiched between the acetate, it was still wet even a couple months back, so it took them a while to fully set.
