Next up, we have the Metropolitan Division! Ever since its creation in 2013 as part of the NHL realignment, it is the toughest of the four divisions. Most of my picks were easy for this one.

Pittsburgh Penguins - Harold (This might be my most unusual TD pick for any NHL representative, but choosing Harold seemed logical to me as he's very much skilled on ice like the Pens. Not to mention he'll be a perfect rival to someone he knows, from the other side of Pennsylvania, which makes the Battle of PA even more interesting.)

Columbus Blue Jackets - Brick (A very strong lock! Since the Blue Jackets are named after Ohio's Civil War soldiers who served on the North side and made the bulk of the Union army, Brick is definitely the best fit for this team thanks to him being in the military and his strong sense of patriotism.)

Carolina Hurricanes - Tyler (Tyler is the definitive pick for the 'Canes, because of the many stuff they share, such as their color scheme and their determination despite their flaws, said determination which especially bore fruit since the "Bunch of Jerks" incident of 2019. Also, since his girlfriend Lindsay represents both the NFL's Panthers and the NBA's Hornets, why not have her boyfriend support her with the third major sports team of the Carolinas?! This makes the pick even more locked.)

New York Rangers - Izzy (Here she is, the lone TD girl top be a NHL representative in an ocean of TD boys. I chose Izzy to be with the Rangers' since their theme revolves pretty much around the Statue of Liberty. I hesitated between her, Scarlett, or Julia, before I realized Izzy would fare much better with the Blue Shirts. That also gives me the opportunity to make her dressed as the Statue of Liberty to complete the New York style.)

Washington Capitals - Bowie (Now I'm warning you, this is my most controversial pick for a TD representative. Since D.C. is infamously known to be a sea of blue, especially during U.S. election years, I've immediately figured out that Bowie would be the representative for the U.S. Capital team thanks to his views that would certainly pleases the high superiors living in the Capitol Building. No offence to anyone with those same views as Bowie.)

New York Islanders - Shawn (This unusual pick comes out of two factors: the first that the Isles are based on Long Island, and an island would be the perfect survival place for Shawn. The second factor comes from an art made by Boreal-Fire-I representing Shawn as a wrestler named after a dragon. Since the Isles have Sparky the Dragon as their mascot, I thought it would make the second connection between Shawn and the Islanders.)

New Jersey Devils - Dave (Now this pick is directly influenced by a TD art of Boreal-Fire-I , made as a commission to NicolasAcostaSW , which represents Dave as a wrestler called the Jersey Devil. Because New Jersey's NHL team is obviously named after the Jersey Devil, I immediately made the connections and Dave as the NJ Devils' pick became a solid lock.)

Philadelphia Flyers - Duncan (It's by huge logic that Duncan is the perfect fit for the Flyers since they were also known as the Broad Street Bullies during their Stanley Cup-winning moments in the 70's. Still to this day, the Flyers are tough, gritty and determined just like our Juvie Boy. I also picked him for Philadelphia thanks to some elements they previously shared with the Montreal Canadiens, such as the double logo on the center ice, which is meant to symbolically represent the strong friendship between Duncan and Kevin (MTL's representative). Overall, I do believe that Duncan is a 100% strong lock for the Flyers.)

And that's one half done for the league, one conference already done! Stay tuned, because tomorrow, the Western Conference conquest will begin, starting with the Central Division.
